OUR COMPANY HAS BEEN OPERATED FOR 100 YEARS SINCE “HOSODA KO STORE” , PRIVATE FIRM, WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1918, AND RE-NAMED HOSODA TRADING CO., LTD, ON FEBRAURY IN 1959. WE HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED AS A SPECIALIZED TRADING
COMPNAY, HANDLING WITH ELECTRONIC/ELECTRICAL PARTS, MACHINES AND RLATED MATERIALS.

WE FACED TRAGIC DOOM, BY LOSING ALL THE OVERSEA FACTORIES AND OFFICES, AS WELL AS IN DOMESTIC OFFICES BY WORLD WAR II. HOWEVER, AFTER THE WAR, WE STRIVED TO REBUILD THE CAOMPNAY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BY CONSOLIDATING THE REMAINING EMPLOYEES AND STRENGTHENED IN SPECIALIZED FILES ON ELECTRONICS/ELECTRINCAL PARTS, MACHINES, STEEL, COPPER AND CHEMICAL MATERIALS, ALONG WITH JAPAN’S RESTART OF TRADE AND INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION, AND LAID THE FOUNDATION AS IT IS.

Kozaburo Hosoda, the youngest brother of “Erihan”, Kyoto, established “Hosoda Ko Store”.
Started business, acquiring sales rights for Osaka area, of tungsten filament,
Mallory Corp, of USA.
1919
Acquired exclusive import distributorship from Mallory Corp.

Took first step of “Electrical Hosoda”, expanding business of electrical appliance.
1920

Established “Hosoda Trading Co., Ltd.”
Mr Kozaburo Hosoda became the 1st president.

Started trading business by establishing export division.
Succeeded in export big volume of fans.

Established Thai branch office.
Established “Toa Yakin”, for manufacturing/sales of domestic tungsten filament.
1936
Established Shanghai branch office.
Regular trades were at a standstill, by expanding wars. 
Managed operation of telephone factory, in Shanghai, by corporation with Oki Electric Industry.
All the foreign facilities confiscated after defeat in war.

Re-established the company by Mr Tsukuda, Senior Managing Director.

Recovered demands by Indian buyers and encouraging priority foreign currency system via re-activation of private trading.
